Abstract:
In this paper,by means of rotor dynamics,the authors theoretically analyzed the gyroscopic effects of the rotor system of the wood-working circular saw machine and its effects on critical whirling speed of circular saw system.Furthermore,M4114.8 wood-working circular saw machine was analyzed,calculated and verified by XLROTOR,a rotor dynamics commercial software package developed by American Rotating Machinery Analysis Company.According to the results of analyses and calculations,the gyroscopic effect had bigger influences on the critical whirling speed of the wood-working circular saw machine,and it should be taken into consideration in the design and calculation of the wood-working circular saw machine.
