    A forest pest and disease monitoring system based on wireless multimedia sensor network.

    • 摘要: 卫星遥感理论及技术是近30年来应用在森林病虫害监测领域的主要手段,产生了大量的理论思想和技术方法。在分析森林病虫害监测的判定、评价指标的基础上,提出一种新颖的、基于无线多媒体传感器网络的森林病虫害监测预警系统的解决方案,并重点讨论无线多媒体传感器网络的硬件构成、路由算法的设计、图像数据包的可靠传输机制、传输拥塞控制策略、图像分类与比对、节点部署等关键问题,最后给出已经完成及正在开展的工作内容。

       

      Abstract: Remote sensing via satellites has been the main method applied in forest pest and disease monitoring during the past thirty years and many theoretical and technological proposals have been launched. By analyzing the indices of decision and evaluation for forest pest and disease monitoring, we propose a novel solution for forest pest and disease monitoring, based on a wireless multimedia sensor network. We provide a system framework and emphasize the major issues, including hardware components of the wireless multimedia sensor network, the design of routing protocol, a reliable transmission mechanism for image data, a strategy for avoidance of congestion, the classification and comparison of images and the schematic deployment of nodes.
