    Investigation of airflow uniformity at air-exchange device in drying kiln by numerical simulation

    • 摘要: 为解决木材干燥室强制集中换气装置进排气道孔口气流的均匀性问题,采用理论分析和Fluent数值模拟方法,对进排气道的进排孔口气流流速、流量等进行数值模拟分析和计算,得到了满足生产实际要求的孔口半径和分布。结果表明:进气道各孔口的质量流量差小于5.1%,排气道各孔口的质量流量差小于7.3%,二者均小于质量流量偏差(10%),能保证进排气道各孔口的气流均匀分布;揭示了进排气道末端到入口端的孔口半径分布规律,得到进排气孔半径的二次分布曲线。

       

      Abstract: This reasearch solves the uniformity of the airflow through orifices in the inlet and outlet ducts of the wood drying compulsory centralize air-exchange device . The optimal diameters and distribution of the orifices were obtained by examining the air flux and velocity at the inlet and outlet ducts using the combination of the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation(CFD). The results indicated that the difference of air flux in the inlet orifices was less than 5.1%, while the difference of air flux in the outlet orifices was less than 7.3%. Since both of the differences were less than 10%, it was ensured that the uniform airflow distributions in the inlet and outlet orifices were achieved. In addition, the orifice radius distributions from the end to the beginning of the inlet and outlet ducts were examined. Two quadratic distribution curves of the orifice radius for the air inlet and outlet ducts were developed.
