    白桦5×5双列杂交子代生长性状的遗传效应分析

    Analysis of genetic effects on growth traits in a 5×5 diallel cross of Betula platyphylla.

    • 摘要: 以4株中国白桦优树(B1、B2、B3和B4)和1株欧洲白桦(OB)为杂交亲本,按5×5双列交配设计控制杂交,对全同胞子代的树高、胸径及材积分析表明:杂交组合子代间的树高、胸径和材积均存在着极显著的差异,各性状的一般配合力、特殊配合力和反交效应差异也达到了极显著水平。根据各杂交组合子代的生长量、一般配合力、特殊配合力、反交效应,初步选择B1为优良亲本、B4为优良母本、B3为优良父本,其中最好的B1亲本在树高、胸径和材积性状上的一般配合力分别为0.126 3、1.136 7、0.009 1,杂种子代各性状生长量超过各组合平均值的3.37%、5.05%、12.18%;B1×B3、OB×B1、B4×B3为初选优良杂交组合,其中B1×B3各性状上的特殊配合力分别为0091 0、0808 0、0007 0,杂种子代各性状生长量超过各组合平均值的13.11%、21.21%、55.76%。该研究为白桦第二代强化种子园的亲本选配提供理论依据。

       

      Abstract: Tree height, diameter at breast height (DBH) and volume of fullsib progenies were measured using a 5× 5 diallel cross of four local strains of Betula platyphylla (B1, B2, B3 and B4) and one European strain of B. pendula. The results indicated that height, DBH and volume among crossing progenies differed significantly. General and specific combining ability (GCA and SCA), and reciprocal effects (REC) of the growth traits also differed significantly. Based on the estimation of growth amount, GCA, SCA and REC of crossing progenies, we selected B1, B4 and B3 as the best parent strain, female parent strain and male parent strain, respectively. For B1, its GCA for height, DBH and volume were 0.126 3, 1.136 7 and 0009 1, respectively. The height, DBH and volume of B1 hybrid progeny were 3.37%, 5.05% and 12.18% higher, respectively, than the average progeny performance. B1×B3, OB×B1 and B4×B3 were superior crosses in a preliminary selection. The SCA for height, DBH and volume of B1×B3 was 0.091 0, 0.808 0 and 0.007 0, respectively. The height, DBH and volume of B1×B3 progeny were 13.11%, 21.21% and 55.76% higher, respectively, than the average progeny performance. The study provides a theoretical basis for the parent selection and the establishment of a second generation seed orchard for birch.
