Design and development of information sharing platform on forest and flower germplasm resources

Germplasm resources are the original source of improving species genes. Though the universities and academies had accumulated plentiful information about forest and flower germplasm resources,the effective protection and utilization of these resources were restricted due to lacking of sharing channel.This paper expatiates the design thoughts and building process of a forest and flower germplasm sharing platform based on the Internet using ASP technology.The platform system finds a solution to widely share the resource information,provide input,search and related functions,promote the level of germplasm resource management.
