Abstract:
Biodiversity conservation has become a global common strategy, and the integration of wildlife conservation into forest management planning has attracted increasing attention. This paper systematically reviewed and analyzed the research on forest management planning incorporating wildlife habitat conservation, covering wildlife habitat suitability evaluation methods, the selection of habitat conservation indicators in multi-objective forest management planning, the construction and solution approaches of management planning models, trade-off analyses between habitat conservation objectives and other forest management objectives, as well as landscape-scale planning software tools. In addition, existing challenges and future research prospects were discussed.
