Abstract: This paper focuses on the procedures which have been available for the past 30 years for Acacia including in vitro bud culture, organgenesis and somatic embryogenesis. At the moment authors face research problems in in vitro multiplication and genetic engineering in Acacia. Only if the biochemical and physiological mechanisms have been clarified,can authors proceed efficiently with in vitro multiplication of Acacia.Under these conditions,breeding with the aid of genetic engineering should improve dramatically.
