Determination of salicylic acid in the plant tissues using RP-HPLC

Salicylic acid(SA) in the leaves of Acer mono was detected by reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography(RP-HPLC) after the tissues were pretreated.The analysis method for SA in the plant tissues was established.The recycle rate of this method was higher than 95%.Its relative standard deviation(RSD) was 0.42%.The results showed that SA was well separated from other acidic interferents, and the ideal quantitative data of SA in A.mono were obtained.
