    Attenuation of forest fire engine driver's indirect visual field in virtual fire environment

    • Starting with the research on traditional testing of indirect visual fields, this paper establishes a virtual indirect visual field test system of forest fire engine, gets the attenuation value of forest fire engine driver's indirect visual field in virtual fire environment. The results showed that indirect visual field attenuation of forest fire engine driver lead to the accident; C column blind area increased slightly with forest fire engine driver's indirect visual field attenuation; the indirect visual field attenuate extent of forest fire engine driver moving forward is less than it reversing; the indirect visual field attenuation is lower under point stroboscopic light source and the indirect visual field attenuation is larger under mobile stroboscopic light source; the indirect visual field attenuation with smoke and noise is the most obvious in same light environment; the indirect visual field attenuation of forest fire engine driver in photopic vision is not obvious and that in scotopic vision is obvious.
