Abstract
This experiment used LiCl/DMAc solvent system to dissolve wood-cellulose with the aim of broadening the application of wood-cellulose. The authors studied the dissolubility complexion of wood-cellulose in LiCl/DMAc, and ascertain the importance of LiCl in cellulose solvent to validate the dissolution mechanism through infrared spectrometry. The results are as follows:①LiCl, which can build complex with cellulose, has the important function in LiCl/DMAc solvent system, and the dissolubility performance is optimized when the hydrogen bond is cut down between the cellulose molecule. ②The non-aqueous solvent system is a better solution to dissolve wood-cellulose, as it is found in infrared spectrometry that the absorption intensity of cellulose -OH(3 400 cm -1) decreases and meants that the association of -OH in cellulose groups reduces, with the hydrogen bond be destroyed. ③Wood-cellulose can be dissolved in LiCl/DMAc solvent thoroughly, and can be modified better for new functional material in this homogeneous synthesizing solvent system.
