Quantitative study on the site classification of key county in the conversion of farmland to forestland

According to the need of the Conversion of Farmland to Forestland Programme(CFF), introducing Matlab,AHP,HCM and other latest theories and methodologies,based on(6 105) surveyed plots and over 40 000 original data obtained in the fields of natural science,social science and economics,by the combination of vegetation factors and environment factors,the site classification of key county was studied.The results showed that CFF comprised 5 site type groups,19 site types in Liangcheng County,Inner Mongolia.Meanwhile,site classification system and quantitative method were established in the paper and all of these provided important basis to promote corresponded development among ecological,economic and social benefits during CFF.
