Performance study on polysulfone-polyacrylonitrile blend ultrafiltration membranes.

    • This study analyzes the performance of polysulfone-polyacrylonitrile (PSF/PAN) blend ultrafiltration membranes under different blending ratios and solid contents of the polymer. The results show that N, N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAC) with the addition of polyethylene glycol 4000 (PEG-4000) is a good solvent for the blend system of PSF/PAN. When the solid content of polymer is 12%, the temperature of coagulation bath 50℃, the evaporation time 30 s, the blending ratio m(PSF)∶m(PAN)=8∶2, the performance of the blend ultrafiltration membranes is better, with a pure water flux of 53 m3/(m2·h·MPa).
