    火炬松2代半同胞家系多地点生长变异及选择

    Multiple site growth variation and selection of half-sib families in the 2nd generation of Pinus taeda

      目的 对火炬松1.5代种子园自由授粉子代(即2代)进行多地点测定,分析其生长性状的遗传变异,筛选出适用于不同地点的优良家系和优良单株,旨在检验广东省火炬松良种选育工作的成效,并为火炬松的遗传改良、良种推广应用奠定科学基础。
      方法 以贵州独山、江西安福、广东英德3个试验点的50个火炬松半同胞家系(含1个对照家系)为研究对象,测定其5年生林分的生长性状。基于BLUP模型,应用R与ASReml软件对数据进行遗传参数估算,根据育种值筛选优良材料,其中家系的入选率为10%,单株入选率为1%,并估算遗传增益。
      结果 (1)3个地点单株材积的变异系数大小依次为独山 > 安福 > 英德,英德试验林的平均胸径和平均单株材积生长量最大。树高、胸径和单株材积在地点间和家系间均存在极显著差异,地点与家系交互作用显著。(2)进行单点分析时,材积、树高、胸径的单株遗传力变异范围分别为0.120 ~ 0.181、0.079 ~ 0.237和0.121 ~ 0.124,家系遗传力变异范围分别为0.402 ~ 0.556、0.383 ~ 0.544和0.365 ~ 0.537。多地点联合分析时,材积、树高、胸径的单株遗传力范围分别为0.110 ± 0.033、0.160 ± 0.041和0.104 ± 0.031,家系遗传力分别为0.659 ± 0.083、0.750 ± 0.051和0.663 ± 0.081。家系遗传力高,适合用于优良家系的选育。单株遗传力水平与已有文献报道差异不大,可开展单株选择。(3)独山入选的优良家系(P034、W14、P023、W28、P043)的材积平均遗传增益为0.7369 dm3;安福入选的优良家系(W14、W11、11、288、W08)的材积平均遗传增益为3.2784 dm3;英德入选的优良家系(W05、W07、287、W11、W14)的材积平均遗传增益为3.1157 dm3。家系W14在3个试验点均表现优良。W11 在安福和英德2个试验点具备良好的生长表现,在贵州虽未入选,但其表现亦处于上游,可以作为适用于多地点推广应用家系的后备选择。独山、安福和英德入选优良个体的材积平均遗传增益分别为1.69567.13385.9533 dm3
      结论 火炬松5年生半同胞子代的生长性状在家系间存在丰富的遗传变异,3个地点各选出5个当地适生的优良家系和20个优良单株,W14家系为3地点均适生的优良家系。研究结果有利于进一步向周边省份推广广东选育出的优良火炬松家系。

       

      Abstract:
      Objective Our paper aims to investigate the genetic variation in growth traits of the open-pollinated offsprings (i.e., the second generation) from the 1.5th generation seed orchard of Pinus taeda through multi-site test, with objectives to select the superior families and individuals for validating breeding achievements in Guangdong Province of southern China and promoting improved varieties of P. taeda.
      Method 50 half-sib families (including one control) of Pinus taeda were measured across three sites (Dushan, Anfu and Yingde) for 5-year growth traits. Genetic parameters were estimated using R and ASReml software based on the BLUP model. According to breeding values, superior materials were selected with 10% family and 1% individual selection rates and their genetic gains were estimated.
      Result (1) The coefficient of variation of individual volume at three sites followed the order of Dushan > Anfu > Yingde, and Yingde exhibited the greatest mean DBH and mean individual volume. There were significant differences in tree height, DBH and individual volume between sites and families (P < 0.01). The interaction between site and family was significant. (2) Single-site heritability estimates for volume, tree height, and DBH varied between 0.120−0.181, 0.079−0.237, and 0.121−0.124, respectively. The range of family heritability of volume, tree height and DBH were 0.402−0.556, 0.383−0.544, and 0.365−0.537, respectively. Based on multi-site joint analysis, the individual heritability estimates for volume, tree height, and DBH were 0.110 ± 0.033, 0.160 ± 0.041, and 0.104 ± 0.031, respectively. The family heritability estimates for these traits were 0.659 ± 0.083, 0.750 ± 0.051, and 0.663 ± 0.081, respectively. The family has high heritability and is suitable for breeding excellent families. The level of individual plant heritability is not significantly different from existing literature reports, and individual plant selection can be carried out. (3) The five superior families at Dushan (P034, W14, P023, W28 and P043), Anfu (W14, W11, 11, 288 and W08), and Yingde (W05, W07, 287, W11 and W14) achieved volume genetic gains of 0.7369, 3.2784 and 3.1157 dm3, respectively. The family W14 performed well in all three test sites. Family W11 performed well in both Anfu and Yingde, and although it was not selected in Dushan, its performance there was still in the upper range, making it a candidate for multi-site deployment. The average genetic gain of volume of selected individuals in Dushan, Anfu and Yingde was 1.6956, 7.1338 and 5.9533 dm3, respectively.
      Conclusion The growth traits of 5-year-old half-sib progeny of Pinus taeda have abundant genetic variations among families. Five local superior families and twenty superior individuals were selected from each of the three sites. The W14 family exhibites stable and superior performance across all sites, demonstrating broad adaptability. The results of this study support the broader application and regional deployment of superior loblolly pine families bred in Guangdong Province to surrounding provinces.
