    饰面处理对刨花板VOCs释放的影响

    Effects of surface finishes on VOCs emission from particleboards

      目的为了研究饰面处理对刨花板挥发性有机化合物(VOCs)释放的影响,分析不同饰面刨花板VOCs释放的主控成分。
      方法以18mm厚刨花板为研究对象,采用1m3气候箱法, 利用气相色谱质谱联用仪检测不同饰面刨花板在一个周期28天内释放的总挥发性有机化合物(TVOC)及各组分VOCs质量浓度,从TVOC和VOCs单个组分质量浓度变化规律及各组分VOCs质量浓度衰减率方面分析不同饰面处理方式对刨花板挥发性有机化合物释放的影响,并根据第28天平衡状态下挥发性有机化合物的种类、质量浓度、化学性质,分析不同饰面刨花板挥发性有机化合物释放的主控成分。
      结果饰面处理不能改变刨花板TVOC的释放趋势,但能影响刨花板TVOC的释放速率,特别是在释放初期,影响最大。其中,PVC饰面方式对刨花板TVOC释放速率的降低作用最为明显,丙烯酸水性漆涂饰能加快刨花板TVOC的释放速率。不同饰面刨花板释放的挥发性有机化合物的主要物质不同,不同饰面方法对VOCs组分的封闭作用也不同。根据释放物质有害性分析,PVC饰面刨花板释放的VOCs推荐控制甲苯、芳香烃类化合物和邻苯二甲酸二丁酯;丙烯酸水性漆涂饰刨花板释放的VOCs推荐控制乙二醇、1,2-丙二醇、芳香烃类化合物、甲苯、二甲苯和环己酮;三聚氰胺浸渍胶膜纸饰面刨花板释放的VOCs推荐控制芳香烃类化合物、甲苯和菲。
      结论饰面处理不会改变刨花板TVOC的释放趋势,但对刨花板TVOC释放速率、单体VOC释放速率以及挥发性有机化合物的主要成分有显著影响。不同饰面刨花板VOCs释放的主控成分不同。

       

      Abstract:
      ObjectiveThis paper is to study the effects of different surface finishes on volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emission from particleboard and to analyze the main limiting components of VOCs from decorative particleboard.
      MethodA 1 m3 climate chamber and gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy were used to examine the total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) emitted by 18-mm-thick particleboards over 28 days in one cycle, as well as the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) mass concentration of each component. The effects of different surface finishes on the emission of VOCs from particleboard were analyzed from three aspects: TVOC emission characters, variation in the mass concentration of a single component in VOCs, and VOC mass concentration decay rate. The main VOC components emitted from particleboard that should be limited were analyzed by their type and concentration until they reached a state of equilibrium on day 28.
      ResultNone of the surface finishes changed the emission trend of TVOCs from particleboard, but they strongly influenced the emission rate of TVOCs, especially in the early stage. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) finishing most obviously reduced the TVOC emission rate from particleboard, whereas the surface treatment involving coating with acrylic water-based paint increased the emission rate of TVOCs. The main VOCs substances emitted from decorative particleboards were different, and the closure effects of different surface finishes for VOCs were different. Through analysis of the harmfulness of emission substances for PVC-coated particleboard, methylbenzene and aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as dibutyl phthalate were recommended to be limited. For acrylic water-based paint coated particleboard, it is recommended that ethanediol, 1, 2-propylene glycol, the aromatic hydrocarbons methylbenzene and xylene, and cyclohexanone should be controlled. For melamine faced particleboard, it is recommended that the aromatic hydrocarbons toluene and phenanthrene should be limited.
      ConclusionSurface finishes do not change the TVOC emission tendency of particleboard, but they have a significant effect on TVOC emission rate, monomer VOC emission rate, and the main components of the VOCs of particleboard. Therefore, the main VOC components that should be limited are different due to the diverse types of decorative particleboard.
