Abstract: Based on the analysis of the experiments data of the application of slurry into forest fire protection,this paper studies the feasibility of applying slurry into putting out forest fire.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of putting out forest fire using slurry and water,the authors put forward the more comprehensive and profound concept of putting out fire by slurry.For the first time,the experiments and research were made on the mechanism of slurry into putting out fire with several common burning substances in the forests(Pinus tabulaeformis,Vitex negundo var.heterophylla,Quercus variabilis,P.bungeana and humus,etc.).The results prove the feasibility of applying slurry into forest fire prevention.
