Size-class structure and distribution pattern of Populus euphratica Oliv. in different habitats.

  • 摘要: 应用“相邻格子法”对塔里木河中游不同生境下胡杨种群进行每木调查,获得野外资料。采用空间代替时间的方法与5种聚集度指标,研究了不同生境胡杨种群径级结构和空间格局及其动态。结果表明:河漫滩生境胡杨种群径级结构呈金字塔型,幼龄储备丰富,种群呈增长趋势;沙地生境种群结构呈纺锤型,幼苗严重不足,种群呈衰退趋势。胡杨种群的格局规模为25 m2。不同生境下胡杨种群空间格局有所差异,分别表现为集群分布与随机分布;在胡杨种群生长过程中,空间格局呈现由集群分布至随机分布的扩散趋势;胡杨种群结构和空间格局主要受塔里木河洪水与其自身生物学特性的影响。
    Abstract: Twelve plots of Populus euphratica were established in the middle reaches of the Tarim River and field data were obtained with a contiguous grid quadrate method. The sizeclass structure and distribution patterns of P. euphratica populations in different habitats were examined by a space substituting time method and five aggregation intensity indices. The sizeclass structure of P. euphratica in the flood plane of the river showed a positively pyramidal type, indicating that the populations on the river banks were rich in saplings banks and progressive. The sizeclass structure of P. euphratica in sand habitat showed a spindle type, indicating that the populations were declining because of a lack of seedlings. The scale of the pattern of these populations was 25 m2 The spatial distributions of the populations varied significantly in the different habitats, conforming to clumped and random patterns. There were variations in the distribution pattern among the various developmental stages of P. euphratica in different habitats, changing from a clumped to a random pattern during their development. Our analysis indicates that the structure and spatial distribution of P. euphratica populations is determined by the combined impact of the flood plane of the Tarim River and the biological properties of plant species.
