    Effects of different management models on carbon storage in Phyllostachys pubescens forests

    • 摘要: 该研究旨在比较不同管理模式对毛竹林碳贮量的影响和1年生毛竹碳积累的动态变化.结果表明,1年生毛竹碳积累量在10月份前随时间推移呈直线增加,此后碳积累量的增加趋缓;集约经营和粗放经营毛竹林中1年生毛竹碳积累量在6个月内分别为10.11和5.61t/hm2,且碳积累主要集中在竹秆,占总碳贮量的71.6%~78.0%;集约经营和粗放经营毛竹林下凋落物的碳贮量分别为1.173和2.156t/(hm2.a);集约经营毛竹林年固碳量为12.750t/(hm2.a),是粗放经营毛竹林的1.56倍;与杉木人工林、热带山地雨林和马尾松林相比,毛竹林具有更大的固定CO2的能力.因此,毛竹是森林植被中固碳效果最好的林木之一.

       

      Abstract: For both intensive managed (IM) and extensive managed (EM) Phyllostachys pubescens forests, the dynamics of carbon accumulation in one-year-old bamboos and carbon storage (CS) in P. pubescens stands were estimated by means of biological measurement method. The results showed that carbon accumulation amounts (CAA) in one-year-old P. pubescens increased rapidly over time up to six months after the P. pubescens shoots spouted and then increased slowly. The CAA in one-year-old P. pubescens under IM and EM were 10.11 and 5.61 t/hm2,respectively, during six months. The greatest CS in different organs was observed in the trunks of one-year-old bamboo, and it accounted for 71.6%-78.0% of total CS. The CS of forest litter under IM and EM were 1.173 and 2.156 t/(hm2·a). The decomposition rate of forest litter under EM was greater than that under IM. The CAA in the P. pubescens stands under IM was 12.750 t/(hm2·a), which was 1.56 times of that under EM. Because of its very high growth rate and great annual CAA, P. pubescens forests may be one of the best forest vegetation for carbon fixation.
