Desertification and sandification monitoring was carried out regularly in China, and a large amount of monitoring data was accumulated. It is critical to explore the law of succession of desertification and sandification by extracting its dynamic information. A dynamic analysis solution and technique framework of desertification and sandification monitoring data was proposed to avoid the weak points of existing dynamic analysis methods. And then, the auxiliary database and dynamic database were constructed to ensure the comparability of mass multiperiod and multithematic monitoring data and the accuracy and efficiency of dynamic analysis. Meanwhile, a simple and practical dynamic analysis program system based on the multitier architecture of component GIS was developed by utilizing the third and fourth national monitoring data. The results show that the dynamic analysis technique is effective and feasible and has the characteristics of general applicability and replicability to some extent.
