Abstract: Forest resource survey with PDA is one of the important tasks of digital forestry,and its key job is to develop an efficient intelligent data input software.Based on requirement analyasis of forest resource inventory software,by applying software design patterns technique,a data input software of forest resources on PDA was designed with high extensibility and powerful flexibility.By checking all stages of data processing,encapsulating and ing the general logic and function as base class and parameterizing the varied parts of different tasks, a smart parameter design can define the range of inventory factors,user interface and data logic relations.The software can meet the requirement of forest resource suvey,management and design task only by parameters configuration now and future,and improve the efficency of forest field information input.
